The JVC VN-C625U Network Dome Camera is a full-function surveillance camera with built-in Compact Flash card slot.
Compact Design with Type II CF Card Slot
The VN-C625U is only 120mm in diameter, making it slim and inconspicuous. Additionally, it features a CF card slot that works in conjunction with the alarm function to allow automatic recording onto a CF card when the alarm triggers.
¼-inch IT High-Sensitivity CCD
The high-resolution ¼-inch interline transfer CCD with IR cut filter captures scenes in realistic color, while the 15x optical zoom provides clear details.
Super LoLux™ Sensitivity & Nighttime Shooting
Even with light levels of 1.8 lux, the VN-C625U can shoot high-quality pictures thanks to Super LoLux™ technology. And at night the mechanical IR cut filter can be automatically retracted for infrared imaging (monochrome), making the camera sensitive enough to shoot in just 0.15 lux of ambient light.
Versatile Camera Control
Highly sophisticated control of camera movements is enabled with such features as 360-degree endless panning and Auto Flip (ensuring no blind spots), variable pan/tilt speeds, Auto Pan and Auto Patrol with 100 pre-set positions, Privacy Mask (to protect selected areas from intrusive monitoring), and Auto Tour (to replay manual camera operations). The VN-C625U can be controlled via JVC VN-S400U software or the VR-N100U Network Video Recorder with client software.
30fps Motion-JPEG (VGA)
The high-quality images are output as Motion-JPEG format with a resolution of up to 640x480 pixels and a maximum frame rate of 30fps. Any computer on the network can be used to monitor and store this video stream, and a future upgrade to the VN-C625U will allow remote access via the Internet from virtually anywhere in the world.
Distribution Control Setting
The bit rate (32kbps to 8Mbps) can be set by turning the Distribution Control setting on. This allows the camera to maintain the preset frame rate (max. 30fps*) and file size by automatically changing the compression level according to the bit rate.
